In 2018, Arilia Winn was asked by a family member to publish their book. Later that year, she published three books of her own, and two books for two other authors, one being a relative.  Falling in love with the process, and standing firm on her strength in book design and marketing, Winn Publications was born.

After working with over 30 independent authors, Arilia saw that the publishing options for talented writers were slim and few in between. With the traditional publishing industry having strict entry guidelines and the pay to publish industry labeled as vanity, Arilia discovered a sweet spot in the middle: hybrid publishing.

Giving writers the best of both worlds, Winn Publications offers its authors the opportunity to pay to publish with a professional and reputable publisher, while maintaining creative control and receiving higher royalty percentages. Vowing to vet talented writers based on their desire and plan to grow as an author on and offline, as well as their storytelling skills, Arilia has positioned her company to stand out from the rest.

As time passed, Arilia decided that publishing books and working with independent authors were all she wanted to do. Therefore, incorporating Winn Publications and registering it as a single-member LLC in February 2020, was what she did next. Taking her hobby and turning it into a full-time, profitable business was the next right move for her and so many indie authors.

Today, Winn Publications aimes to be one of the most innovative publishers in hybrid publishing. We work hand-in-hand with many highly-regarded, book publishing industry professionals and are always open to answering questions. Let us know what you need. We are excited to help!

In 2018, Arilia Winn established Winn Publications, offering book publishing and website design services. By 2019, the company grew from publishing 3 to 5 books. In 2020, Winn focused solely on book publishing, registering Winn Publications as a single-member LLC and publishing 14 books. In 2021, she expanded the business with W.E. Bookstore (now called Renaissance Reads) , hosting events to support small businesses during the pandemic, making Winn Publications a 5-figure business.

In 2022, facing growth challenges, a failed Kickstarter led to a pivot towards book formatting, resulting in the best year with 16 published books and 50 formatted books. In 2023, Arilia invested in 4 titles, achieving Amazon Best Sellers status. Now, in 2024, she aims to open a local bookstore-publishing company, uniting all brands and fostering community connections while championing opportunities for creatives.
